A compendium and an adventure for 5e

The Magic
Mosses

Thirty-four herbs to smoke, with wondrous powers.
And all the trouble that comes with them.

The world

The story of a herb with extraordinary magical powers runs through every age and every people of this world. Flowers that cure the most terrible ills, lichens that change your appearance, molds that grant elemental powers. Stories handed down until they turned into legend.

One person refused to stop at the legend. Spiro Asterion, a sylvan half-elf born in the forest city of Iefira, spent a lifetime chasing those stories down to the root. This compendium is his life’s work: the mosses, and their powers.

Control is what gets you! Every people of this world believes it can control anything. So the land became a resource, the seas trade routes, the mountains mines, the forests firewood and hunting grounds. But this stuff… these herbs are absolutely insane.
